The photograph shows the monumental, eclectic Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology on a bright, sunny day. The symmetrical façade, in a pastel shade of light pink, is characterised by rounded wings and rich architectural ornamentation. In the central section, three large, tall arched windows and a grand entrance staircase are visible. At the very top of the building, above the inscription ‘POLITECHNIKA’, stands a distinctive sculptural group. In front of the building lies a paved square, where passers-by and students stroll, whilst on either side urban greenery and trees are visible against a backdrop of a blue sky with white clouds.
